Men on a Mission – One of Australia’s leading commercial TV stations, Channel 7, will bring its new show ‘Men on a Mission’ to Las Vegas February 13-23. The 90-minute program, solely dedicated to featuring Las Vegas, will follow five Aussie celebrities (names TBD) as they explore the Entertainment Capital of the World and participate in daring and interactive attractions along the way. The show, ‘Men on a Mission’ is slated to run on prime time TV in 2019, exact timing, TBC.

For the first time, American Airlines, in conjunction with Japan Airlines, has announced a special nonstop flight between McCarran International Airport and Narita International Airport to support increased demand for CES 2019. The flight will be operated by American on a Boeing 787-8 aircraft January 4-14, 2019.

We will introduce the media to exciting aspects of Las Vegas and provide them the opportunity to experience the convenience of this special nonstop flight to the Japan market.

Following years of efforts to bring a second NASCAR race to Las Vegas, the sport’s top drivers will return Sept. 13-16 for the inaugural Fall NASCAR Race Weekend. The event weekend includes the inaugural South Point 400 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series playoff race, the DC Solar 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race, the World of Westgate 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series playoff race and the Star Nursery 100 NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race at The Dirt Track. The Cup Series race will be the first race of the playoffs for the top 16 drivers, and Las Vegas is the only track with two triple-header weekends on the NASCAR schedule. La La Noodle Coming to Park MGM This Fall
Park MGM adds to its portfolio of original restaurants with La La Noodle, a new concept, debuting this November. Fremont Street Experience will begin its $32 million renovation of Viva Vision, the world’s largest single video screen located in historic downtown Las Vegas, February 2019. Spanning five city blocks above one of the most vibrant streets in Las Vegas, the upgraded Viva Vision canopy will illuminate the pedestrian mall with 16,433,152 pixels and 5,000 Nits, making it seven-times brighter than the existing canopy with four-times the resolution. For the sixth consecutive year, the LVCVA will kick off the festivities Thursday, March 15 with the official greening of the sign and it will remain green through St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday, March 17. We are seeking images from our property and destination partners showcasing Business, Meetings and Convention capabilities.
