Energy Times/Discover Life (circ. 400K) - Associate Publisher and Editor Allan Richter will visit the destination August 17-22 for several feature stories on the "Best of Las Vegas" for Energy Times and Discover Life. Energy Times is a national health, food and lifestyle magazine, while Discover Life is a recently-launched magazine aimed at millennials interested in adventures. Allan is seeking assistance with accommodations (especially those with strong wellness and/or technology elements), dining, spas (specifically treatments that use unusual ingredients or approaches or reflect the Las Vegas desert setting), adventure activities, beaches and day clubs, as well as eco-friendly initiatives. Resulting coverage will run in print and be at least three spreads in Discover Life and Energy Times. *The Blonde Salad (UVM 210K) - Lifestyle Editor Vince Malinconico will visit Las Vegas September 7-11 to produce a Las Vegas travel guide focusing on Only-in-Vegas and unique experiences in Las Vegas. During the dates of travel Vince Malinconico will also be conducting live Instagram Stories on The Blonde Salad's Instagram page: @theblondesalad (351K Followers), as well as the TBS Crew's Instagram page @TBSCrew (87.8K Followers). We are seeking assistance with accommodations, dining, entertainment and other Only-in-Vegas experiences that would fit a millennial audience. The piece, tentatively titled "Four Days for An Unconventional Trip to Las Vegas" is scheduled to run in September 2017 upon Vince's return. Sports in Las Vegas - The LVCVA and R&R Partners are looking at different ways to promote Las Vegas as the destination to watch all sports. To kick things off we are looking for viewing parties for the upcoming Mayweather vs. McGregor fight on August 26. We are seeking names of locations for viewing parties to include in a larger list. Las Vegas Development Trends Press Release - The LVCVA will create a press release detailing notable construction, expansion and remodeling projects that have either been announced or are currently underway in the first half of 2017. The trend release, aimed at highlighting ongoing growth in Southern Nevada, will be distributed to national, international and local media outlets. USA Today 10 Best (UVM 1M) - Lois Alter Mark, USA Today 10 Best travel contributor, will visit Las Vegas with one guest, September 6-9 to write a 1,000-word feature on the destination. The online roundup will highlight Las Vegas’ new and unique offerings, with a focus on activities travelers can experience outside of gambling. We are seeking assistance with luxury accommodations, fine and casual dining, entertainment, spa/wellness and outdoor activities. Coverage is expected to run online October 2017. Business, Meetings and Conventions - The LVCVA and R&R Partners are developing an image asset library for Business, Meetings and Conventions to be used across disciplines including the VegasMeansBusiness.com website, media and digital content usage. We are seeking images from our property and destination partners showcasing Business, Meetings and Convention capabilities.
We would like to receive images that are (at least) 300dpi and depict the following aspects:

  • Tradeshows and Convention spaces
  • Large and Small Meeting spaces
  • Both dressed and non-dressed spaces
  • If images include people, then faces and likeness must not be recognizable unless you have necessary permissions.
